DRILLING: Use only new or sharply ground steel or carbide
tipped drills. All holes must be drilled at least 40mm
from the edge of sheet.
INSTALL THIS SIDE UP:
This Marklon sheets is UV protected on this side
only and it must be installed this side up. Remove
all packing films immediately after installation.
END CLOSURE: Sheets must
always be installed with ribs in vertical inclination.
Close upper ends with aluminum tape and/or a U profile.
Close lower ends with perforated aluminum tape and/or
a perforated U profile.
SILICONE: Use only appropriate
Silicone for polycarbonate.
BENDING: Radius of bending curve should not exceed the figure indicated above.
THERMAL EXPANSION - EDGE
ENGAGEMENT: MARKLON sheets will expand on exposure
to heat. An expansion space of 3mm/M should be allowed
for each dimension as illustrated (t). The appropriate
edge engagement (R) is determined by the distance
of an open end from the last rib(E) according to
the sheet.
CLEAN: Use only neutral
detergent or mild soap and soft cloth or sponge.
Rinse sheet with lukewarm water (below 60°C).
STORAGE: Sheets stored outdoors should be protected from sunlight and rain by an appropriate opaque waterproof cover, and away from chemical contact.
CUTTING METHOD: Using
cutter.
Notes:
Marklon Polycarbonate Hollow Sheets is covered with
a layer of protection foil to avoid scratches during
transportation and installation. The masking foil can
be easily removed by applying kerosene with a soft cloth,
followed immediately with soap and water cleaning.
PLEASE DO NOT USE ABRASIVE MATERIAL, ALKALINE OR ALCOHOLIC
AGENT FOR CLEANING.
